Primarily a bass trombonist, Veronica celebrates 15+ years of performing in various ensembles from classical to jazz. Veronica earned her Bachelor’s with an emphasis in Music Education back in 2015. She has taught and mentored in educational programs with the Monterey Jazz Festival and San Jose Jazz. Veronica hopes her mentoring expands beyond the stand by participating in nerd-oriented events (anime & gaming) as an advocate for Black, POC, LGBTQ+ communities by hosting panels on mindfulness. You can find her hosting a podcast, Lady Blerds Sings the Blues and performing with 7th Street Big Band in San Jose.
