Theresa J. May is a native of Ohio. She received her Master’s in trumpet performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and her Bachelor’s from the University of Dayton. Theresa is adjunct faculty at Cuyahoga Community College and John Carroll University where she teaches Applied Trumpet and World Music. She is a teaching artist for the Roots of American Music organization and has recently become a member of Black Classical Musical Educators. Theresa performs in the Colour of Music Festival and has also been featured as a guest artist in the Alumni Recital Series at the University of Dayton.
