Trumpeter Lizbeth Yanez, born and raised in Atlanta, GA, is an alumna of the Atlanta Symphony’s Talent Development Program and is a recipient of the Lift Music Fund. 

From a young age she has been an advocate for promoting diversity and equity for women and people of color in the arts. She has performed with ensembles such as the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra, Bourbon Baroque, and has attended the Brevard Summer Music Festival.

Ms. Yanez holds a Bachelor's degree in trumpet performance from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music and is currently earning her Master’s degree from the Yale School of Music under the instruction of Kevin Cobb. Previously, she has studied with Michael Tiscione, John Rommel, and Kris Kwapis.
