Native to Canada, Alexis began musical training at Yorkminster Citadel of the Salvation Army on cornet and went on to earn a Bachelor of Music Performance on Trumpet at the University of Toronto.

Alexis has performed with Philip Cobb, for Philip Smith, under Nicholas Childs in New York, and has won the 2021 Cory Band Online Championships with the Oakland University Brass Band as principal cornet. Alexis has also been a soloist with the North York Concert Orchestra and with the Mexico Amigo Mariachi Band. Now attending Oakland University in Michigan, Alexis is earning a Master’s of Music in Instrumental Performance.
